GXN Conference Programme & the ‘Awards’ Initiative
Dear Member,
Welcome to GXN Insight vol.1, No. 7. With our 5th Anniversary in Kitzbuehel just a few months away I wanted today’s GXN Insight to highlight two crucial items at the heart of the Conference Programme running on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th October; the content topics and the new ‘Awards’ initiative.
Central to the GXN Conference programme are a host of stimulating agenda items. I am proud to highlight these to you:
1. Keynotes
There are two keynotes, the GXN keynote, delivered by Florian Rotberg and myself, where we present a market update with top line figures and industry developments. Our keynote speaker is Achim Berg whose extensive leadership roles provide global insights into ‘How Tech & M&A are driving the Economy’. In addition, we catch up with a previous keynote Hanna Lyrek with ‘Live from Norway’.
2. There are five panel events covering:
- Panel 1 – Lost in Connection
- Panel 2 – A Global Eco Study
- Panel 3 – Consolidation in the Merch Industry
- Panel 4 – Global Trends
- Panel 5 – GXN Founders Panel: 5 Years GXN – What’s next?
3. Important strategic initiatives surrounding our industry and GXN are covered across the conference:
- POD – The Business Driver with Jayson Tompkins
- OneVoice – Establishing ROI in the Merch Industry (More insights in the podcast with Michael)
- Women in Promo – Breakfast with moderator & Chair Carleen Gray
- Executive Development Programme Update – Dr. Georgina Lack
- AI Practice – Dr. Christoph Menzel.
These stimulating elements within the conference programme are designed to inspire with insight and develop dynamic dialogue. You can see the schedule in the GXN Conference Participant Guide however, we will bring you more on these agenda items in the coming weeks.
One important initiative being introduced at the conference deserves a mention of its own – the new GXN Awards. The GXN Awards have been instigated to recognize outstanding industry leaders whose vision, achievements and commitment are making a meaningful impact on our global industry. The inaugural awards will be presented at the GXN Annual Conference in Kitzbühel. This is our opportunity to celebrate individuals who go beyond business success — leaders who inspire others, drive innovation, build bridges across markets and help shape the future of our industry.
Best regards,
Michael Freter
